Our Story
We love 3D printers. In fact, we spent years working with them as 3D designers and printing service providers. Every day, we were playing around with countless different types of printers, getting to know each of them in depth, understanding the advantages of each one.
As certain weaknesses in the existing 3D printers become more apparent, frustration gave way to inspiration, and we knew we had to build our own solution to the various issues we were facing. That’s when the fun really started.
We took the strengths of every printer we’d ever come across, mashed them together into a monstrous Cartesian system, added some improvements of our own - and
taddah! Kogi was born.
The result was a super-fast FDM 3D printer that prints at a speed of over 140 mm/s (yes, you read that right. We enlarge the print area to 300x300x350), and created a machine that ensures consistent high-quality printing.

Kogi’s enhanced 3D technology owes a lot to the awesome community of makers, and open source online collectives. As soon as we finished building this printer, we knew we had to share it with the world.
As makers, we believe in creating products with a positive social and environmental impact. We can’t wait to see the crazy designs and inventions that Kogi will help you to bring to life.

Lead screws: we wanted consistency and speed, and we got tired of changing the rubber belts. We decided to steal a trick from the CNC world. In short: consistency, speed, easy maintenance. ​​​

Sturdy aluminium structure: no more vibrations. While other printers are literally shaking in their boots at the very idea of 140mm\s, that’s the speed at which Kogi hits its stride.

V6 All-Metal HotEnd: get as hot as you want with super high temperatures for a wide range of different materials.

Volcano Heating Element: allows high volume prints and high speeds without overheating. Just what you need to create quick and smooth prints.

Wheel system and rail tracks: we found that linear bearings made noise and wore off easily - so we got rid of them.

Direct feeding: Kogi was made to print materials from a wide variety of densities, from ultra flexible to super rigid.
